Laurie’ Beaty

As a member of the Florida College Women’s Basketball Team, Laurie’ Beaty was the action and vocal leader of the team. Beaty led the Falcons throughout her career in points and assists. Her career high of 45 came against Warner Wilson College during the 15’-16’ season. Primarily known for scoring, the versatility of her as a player grew each year at Florida College and most recently with the Orlando Splash in the WCBCL.

Beaty demonstrated her ability to get teammates involved, energize her team when most needed and perform in clutch moments. One of her underrated skills, which she is tirelessly continuing to improve is her defense. Her footwork and hand speed make her a dangerous threat at any moment, Outside of sports, Laurie’ completed her time at Florida College finishing with her degree in Sports Management. She’s hardworking, selfless and ready for any opportunity to play the game she loves.
